A lifetime of adventure has taught me that the greatest discoveries are not always found in the wilderness, but in the experiences that shape who we become.
My journey has taken me from the wild rivers and remote landscapes of Africa to a new chapter of life in Britain. Along the way, I have encountered extraordinary people, experienced different cultures and faced challenges that have profoundly influenced my outlook on life.
Born in Zambia, raised in Malawi and now proudly British, I carry the experiences and heritage of two continents. Africa will always be part of who I am, while Britain has become my home and the place from which I continue to share my stories with the world.
A NEW CHAPTER, THE SAME SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE
Although my days in the African wilderness are behind me, my curiosity and appetite for discovery remain undiminished.
I continue to explore the world around me, finding inspiration in history, nature, science, culture and the remarkable achievements of humanity.
Whether discovering ancient civilisations, exploring Britain’s rich heritage or reflecting on the lessons of a lifetime, I believe every experience offers something worth learning and sharing.
For me, adventure has never been simply about danger or excitement. It is about curiosity, determination, resilience and the willingness to venture beyond the familiar.

Today, my focus is on transforming a lifetime of extraordinary experiences into stories that can reach and inspire audiences around the world.
Through my books, future writing projects and ambitions for documentary and film adaptations, I am developing The Real Crocodile Hunter® into an internationally recognised platform for authentic storytelling, adventure and conservation.
My past has given me remarkable stories to tell. My future is about ensuring those stories are preserved, shared and remembered.

MPATAMANGA is the true story of my 20-year mission to protect one of Malawi’s last wild landscapes against poachers, illegal logging, wildfires, and uncertainty.
From the remote Mpatamanga Gorge to a new life in London, this is a story of conservation, resilience, and the determination to leave the world a little better than I found it.
